Long ago a man named Jeremiah was born. And he was to live and die like we all do. Or so he thought. He was lucky enough to fall in love with a woman named Cordelia Whitesun and their love was like no other and brought light and beauty into the world. But one day something terrible happened and she was taken from him. He never forgave the world and the pain and the hurt he felt burning inside him was enough to turn his soul to shadow and one day he fell into a deep, dark sleep that lasted for a long, long time...
And finally when he was awoken by the sound of a million heartless machines changing the world into something new and horrible he found himself in a strange and unfamiliar place where the people were governed by devices they carried in their hands. Slowly and surely he realised he could use this for his own ends. To use the narcissistic longings of this new world for his own means. To bring back the one he loved......
